Sumapaz Páramo Private Hike Tour

1.Sumapaz Páramo Private Hike Tour

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 52 reviews · 8 hours (approx.) · from $121Our pick

Escape Bogotá for an eight-hour private hike in Sumapaz National Park, guided by a tour leader and local páramo guide. Walk muddy trails through the world’s largest páramo, learn about its role in Bogotá’s water supply, and reach elevations of up to 4,600 meters. José, Omar, Francisco, Luis, Liz, and other guides have led highly praised outings.

“Ok, my guide Luis said this was the third worst weather he’s seen on this hike. Pouring rain, wind, and basically hiking along (and in) a trail that has turned to a mini river. Despite all of that, I had a freaking blast! My boots are still soaked days later! Luis was such a great guide - from sharing knowledge to actually connecting personally. Seriously such a great time! Didn’t really have any issues with the altitude either, which was my biggest concern. So fun!”
